Determining Your FTP Settings

This article applies to those clients who have a website hosting service with Your.co.za and assumes you have Access to cPanel

You are able to obtain your cPanel username and password by clicking  the "My Services" menu item from within the Client Area. Here a list of your services are shown, select the icon shown right for the web hosting account you wish to gain cpanel access to. Once the icon is selected, the cPanel settings are shown under the Login Details heading.

Note the password shown for the username and password value; the password follows immediately after the / character. These settings are also your FTP username and password settings.

Your settings, for example, would be:

Hostname / FTP Address: ftp.(domain).co.za
Username: (username)
Password: **********
Port: 21
Server Type (If Required): FTP
Login Type (If Required): Normal

Note that your domain replaces the (domain).co.za values above.
