To answer a common question regarding a clients departure from our network:
No. Unfortunately will not assist you in migrating away from us.
You can make a full backup of your hosting account inside of cPanel.
You will need to have available space to make a full backup of your account. Typically (this is an indication, and not an exact prescription), a hosting account can be up to 55% to 60% full to be able to make a full backup of the site in its entirity. You will typically need slightly less than half the total space to make a backup, since backups are slightly compressed and occupy less space than the uncompressed files within the hosting area. The backup will be large and must have free space in the hosting account to be stored.
This can be downloaded in its entirity by yourself or your new host and transferred to your sites new home.
We are unable to increase hosting space temporarily to accommodate your making a backup of your account. If you have insufficient space to perform a backup, you may delete old stored emails / hosting files, or upgrade your account to a bigger acount in order to have the space required. We are happy to assist you in downgrading your hosting renewal duration from several months to a single month if you only need the added storage facility for a brief period of time while your backup is made and migrated.
